Students, educators, parents, grandparents, people of faith and health professionals across the Commonwealth have urged the government to oppose a bill that would eliminate the requirement that school boards adopt policies that conform to the Virginia Department of Education's model policies for the treatment of transgender students. To ensure that all children in the school district are ready to go to school, Fairfax County Public Schools and Educate Fairfax are once again working with government and nonprofit entities to provide school supplies to students who might otherwise be left without them.
