The state government of Virginia is devoted to providing a safe and secure learning atmosphere for all students. The directors of the programs and centers of the Residential Government Summer Schools together with specialists from the Virginia Department of Education collaborate to manage and maintain these programs. Numerous partnerships have been established between the governor's schools that are in the academic year and businesses in the community; several schools are supported by foundation initiatives created by parents and community leaders to provide additional financial and technological support.
